The Academic All State Program honors the top Oklahoma Youth Expo scholarship applicants. The Academic All State Program is designed to model athletic all-state programs in which a select few are recognized for their outstanding achievement and dedication to success. Each of the Academic All State members have been awarded a $5,000 educational scholarship. The Academic All State members were chosen based upon an application and interview process.
The eight who won the title of Academic All State include the following:
Braden Heisler Waukomis FFA
Taylor McGill Tuttle FFA
Halle Rowland Silo FFA
Austin Hooten Stillwater FFA
Marlie Farris Granite FFA

Braden Burns of Kingfisher FFA was also awarded the Robert A. Funk Achivement Award. This award honors the ever-expanding legacy of OYE Chairman, Mr. Robert "Bob" A. Funk. Mr. Funk is a Champion of Champions, a friend to all and a genuine gentleman. It has always been his sincere hope to elevate and uphold the agricultural youth of Oklahoma unlike any other. Through his encouragement, support and remarkable vision, the Oklahoma Youth Expo is a success. Mr. Funk's personal contributions have ensured this program and event will continue for future generations of young agriculturalists. It is through faith, hard work, scholarships and a solid education that Mr. Funk has achieved significant milestones, and he genuinely aspires for others to experience even greater success in life. His accomplishments abound, but the accolades and earnings cannot begin to touch his caring and truly selfless heart that always considers others before himself.
This award is given annually to the premier junior livestock exhibitor achieving success in the show ring, academics and community involvement throughout their junior livestock show career.
