NASDA Announces New Staff Opportunities and Welcomes New Team Members The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture is pleased to announce the promotion of Autumn Lankford to Manager, Public Policy and the hiring of Ellen Roth and Farrah Creer as Executive Administrator to the CEO and Coordinator, Human Resources & Finance, respectively.

"Today we celebrate new opportunities for longstanding staff and welcome two new talented women to the NASDA family," NASDA CEO Dr. Barb Glenn said. "I'm proud to see our continued growth, as NASDA staff are at the heart of our service to members and work to advance U.S. agriculture through policy, partnerships and public engagement."

Lankford's time with NASDA extends back to 2019, and most recently, she served as Executive Administrator to the CEO. Lankford holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural communication and is currently earning a Master of Legal Studies from American University, Washington College of Law. Today marks her first day in the new role.

"I am excited to continue serving our members through this new role. I look forward to furthering NASDA's policy priorities and amplifying the voice of the nation's secretaries, directors and commissioners of agriculture," Lankford said.

Roth joined NASDA on July 19 as NASDA's new Executive Administrator to the CEO, and she brings expertise in office management and member services to the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Oklahoma City University. An Oklahoma native, Roth comes to NASDA from American Farmers & Ranchers/Oklahoma Farmers Union where she served as their Membership Involvement and Event Coordinator.

"I am thrilled to be joining the NASDA team. I look forward to working with and learning from NASDA leadership and our members to further advance American agriculture."

Roth will help forward NASDA's mission through supporting programs across the organization including the office of the CEO and NASDA's operations department.

Creer joined the team on July 20 in a new role for NASDA. As Coordinator, Human Resources & Finance, Creer will play a critical part providing administrative support for NASDA.

"I'm incredibly proud to be a part of NASDA, the only organization dedicated to serving state departments of agriculture through policy, partnerships and public engagement in the U.S.," Creer said. "I'm excited to strive for excellence and bring out the best in each employee by contributing to HR processes including employee engagement, learning and development and finance management."

Most recently, Creer served as Program Coordinator for Consumer Direct Care Network in the healthcare industry. In addition to her experience in human resources, finance and non-profit work, she holds a bachelor's degree in African American studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently earning an MBA with a focus in human resource management from Liberty University.
