ASA Getting Transparent about Ag Data
Fri, 13 Aug 2021 08:22:56 CDT
Starting this week and running through Aug. 23, ASA is working with the Ag Data Transparent team on a communications push to broaden awareness of the group's mission. The campaign, featured on social media channels Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn along with other communications platforms, serves a dual purpose of educating both farmers and tech providers about the importance of having and participating in the ADT program.
ASA featured quotes from President Kevin Scott (SD) all week on its social and pushed out additional materials from ADT as the group discussed the 11 ADT questions companies should answer to assure farmers' data are being used in a transparent manner.
ASA is proud to have helped create the Ag Data Transparency Evaluator, a tool designed to help farmers understand how their data will be used when they adopt precision agriculture technologies. Find out more about ADT and the Evaluator under Education and Resources on soygrowers.com.
In addition to the quotes from President Scott, ASA director Brandon Wipf (SD), shares here his perspective on ag data transparency. Following today's eBean, ADT will also distribute Brandon's insightful editorial.
