Participate in ‘Read an Accurate Ag Book Week’ Sept. 7-10

Participate in ‘Read an Accurate Ag Book Week’ Sept. 7-10 Oklahoma Farm Bureau members are encouraged to share the world agriculture with students in their community during ‘Read an Accurate Ag Book Week’ Sept. 7-10.

A program of Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom, agriculture leaders across the state will have the opportunity to join together in telling the agriculture story and importance of agriculture.

Producers, teachers, librarians, 4-H clubs and FFA chapters who participate can enter to win a basket of accurate agriculture books donated by Oklahoma AITC.

To participate:

Register to participate by completing the form here.
Read an Accurate Ag Book to a classroom near you Sept. 7-10, 2021.
Take pictures of you reading to the school/class (with permission from the school).
Post pictures on social media with the hashtags #okagclass and #readagbooks2021. Post pictures to Facebook.
If you are not on social media, email pictures to emily.ague@ag.ok.gov.
In addition, Farm Bureau members can use #OKFBReads21 to be highlighted on OKFB’s Facebook page or can send photos to brianne.whitcomb@okfb.org.
