Masters of Beef Advocacy Advocate of the Year 2021 Award Nominations are Due Friday, October 29, 2021
The National Cattlemen's Beef Association, a contractor to the Beef Checkoff, is seeking nominations for the 5th annual Advocate of the Year award.
This award is intended to recognize those who exemplify what it means to be advocates for the beef community. An effective advocate is one who is active in addressing consumer concerns and telling the beef story, and who does so in a way that is reflective of the community's values.
Nominations should include a description of the advocate's accomplishments in positively representing the beef community. Nominees should be graduates of the Masters of Beef Advocacy program.
Submissions should speak to the advocate's abilities to reach beyond their inner circles of influence, both online and in their respective communities. Specific examples of successful social media posts (with reach and engagement measures), community events, engagement with local, state, or national advocacy programs, or other measurable impacts may be included. References are welcomed.
Nominations are due to mba@MastersofBeefAdvocacy.com by Friday, October 29, 2021.
The winner will be awarded with a trip to the 2022 Cattle Industry Convention in Houston, Texas to receive recognition during the event.
