Commissioners of the Land Office Land Lease Auctions Scheduled

Commissioners of the Land Office Land Lease Auctions Scheduled The 39th annual Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO) fall land lease auctions will begin October 11, 2021 in Boise City and conclude October 25, 2021 in Shawnee. A total of 517 tracts in 32 counties will be available for lease at the eight auctions.

"The CLO is pleased to offer over 150,800 acres on more than 500 tracts for lease at our fall auctions this
year," Elliot Chambers, secretary of the Commissioners of the Land Office, said. "These leases are suitable for a variety of agricultural and recreational uses and generate revenue that goes directly to Oklahoma education."

All leases are for a term of five years unless otherwise indicated. Detailed lists of available tracts, including minimum bids required, are available online at www.clo.ok.gov. Visit the agriculture real estate auction page and sign up for email updates to stay informed of auction specifics.

Leases in Cimarron County will be auctioned at the Cimarron County Fairgrounds at 9 a.m. Oct. 11.

Leases in Beaver and Texas County will be offered at 2 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Texas County Fairgrounds.

Bidding for Ellis, Harper, Major, Woods and Woodward County leases begins at 10 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Woodward Event Center.

Leases in Alfalfa, Blaine, Garfield, Grant, Kay and Kingfisher counties will be offered at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 at the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Enid.

Leases in Beckham, Caddo, Kiowa and Washita counties will be auctioned at 10 a.m. Oct. 18 at the Elk City Convention Center.

Leases in Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jackson and Tillman counties will be auctioned at 10 a.m. Oct. 19 at the Comanche County Fairgrounds in Lawton.

The Logan, Noble, Pawnee and Payne County lease auction will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 20 in
Stillwater at the Payne County Expo Center.

Auctions will conclude at the Shawnee Expo Center at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 with Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Oklahoma and Pottawatomie County leases.

Statewide, over 725,000 acres are actively managed by the Commissioners of Land Office and revenue generated from lease auctions is distributed to Oklahoma schools and universities. Last year, over $116 million was distributed to Oklahoma education beneficiaries.
