New Dairy Discovery Zone Exhibit at the State Fair of Texas Merges Education and Entertainment

Tue, 12 Oct 2021 13:12:25 CDT

New Dairy Discovery Zone Exhibit at the State Fair of Texas Merges Education and Entertainment After reaching more than 2.4 million visitors since its debut in 2010, the Dairy MAX Dairy Discovery Zone revealed a revamped exhibit at the 2021 State Fair of Texas. The renovated exhibit honors the traditions and history of dairy farming while providing interactive edu-tainment to meet changing consumer preferences.

The Dairy Discovery Zone still highlights dairy's great sustainability story, nutritional benefits, farm families, and busts myths about where food comes from, but in a modern way, offering memorable experiences for younger generations. The new interactive components - a farm experience demonstrating the hard work of dairy farmers who provide safe and sustainable dairy foods; a YUM experience showcasing the enjoyment of dairy; and a supply chain experience highlighting the safe journey of milk from farm to table. Additionally, each area features a digital video game for engagement to reinforce the important messages delivered in the exhibit.

"Over the past 10 years, our exhibit has provided first-hand experiences, answered questions, and shared the love and passion of dairy with almost two and a half million people through the Dairy Discovery Zone," said Kaci Creel, vice president of corporate communications for Dairy MAX. "Looking to the future, we wanted to maximize opportunities for more participation while meeting changing preferences for younger generations."

Dairy MAX intends to take the new Dairy Discovery Zone to more events across their eight-state region, expanding its potential reach and impact on even more consumers who visit the exhibit. The in-person experience also integrates with Dairy MAX's social media outreach and email newsletters providing #DairyAmazing information, stories, and farm-family favorite recipes for year-round interactions.

The new Dairy Discovery Zone will be at the State Fair of Texas from September 24 to October 17 and will include a partnership with Oak Farms Dairy and celebration of National Farmer's Day on October 12.
