Missouri Farmers Union Member Appointed to National Organic Standards Board

The USDA announced the appointment of four new members to the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB). We're excited to share that Missouri Farmers Union member Liz Graznak is one of those new appointments!
The NOSB is made up of 15 volunteer members representing the organic community. The new members will serve five-year terms, through January 2027. Liz was appointed to the environmental protection and resource conservation seat.
Here's more about Liz: Elizabeth "Liz" Graznak is the owner and "FarmHer" of Happy Hollow Farm, an 82-acre diversified organic vegetable farm near Jamestown, Missouri. She markets through retail sales and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). She brings to the NOSB sixteen years of certified organic farming experience, a passion for the environment, and a commitment to growing and providing healthy, nutritious food for her community. Liz has served on several boards, including the Missouri Organic Association and the Sustainable Farms and Communities board. She was voted the 2021 "Farmer of the Year" by the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES).
