AJSA National Classic Internship Opportunity

Are you looking for a short-term summer internship that will provide experience running a livestock show, organizing contests, and working with a group of motivated individuals? This summer the American Junior Simmental Association (AJSA) is offering an internship opportunity to assist in the planning and execution of the 2022 National Classic in Madison, WI.
Qualifications:
Must have graduated from high school
Cannot be competitors or exhibitors in any events at the 2022 AJSA National Classic
Available June 22 - July 1, 2022, and able to travel
Knowledge of cattle show procedures
Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively
Candidates should have good written and oral communication skills
Major Responsibilities:
Assist ASA and AJSA staff in the execution of the National Classic shows and educational events
Help create and post content on social media
Announce class show times via Remind
Record show placings and contest points
Compensation:
AJSA will provide housing and meals throughout the week
Compensation provided
