OSU's Kim Anderson Talks With SUNUP on Factors Influencing Grain Market
Thu, 07 Apr 2022 15:01:47 CDT
Oklahoma State University Extension Grains Market Analyst Dr. Kim Anderson talks current grain markets.
When looking at the factors that are impacting grain prices right now, Anderson said the biggest is Ukraine, Russia and the war that is going on overseas.
"Then there is weather," Anderson said. "You go into central and western U.S. and it's too dry, and you go back to the east and it's too wet."
Delayed planting plays a role as well as price volatility and high input cost during this time, Anderson said.
