Availability of Low-Interest Physical Loss Loans for Producers Affected by Natural Disasters Physical loss loans can help producers repair or replace damaged or destroyed physical property essential to the success of the agricultural operation, including livestock losses. Examples of property commonly affected include essential farm buildings, fixtures to real estate, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, fruit and nut bearing trees and harvested or stored crops and hay.



State: Arkansas


Triggering Disaster Event 1: high winds, lightning, and a tornado that occurred on March 30, 2022. Application Deadline: Feb. 3, 2023


Primary Counties Eligible: Johnson


Contiguous Areas also Eligible: Arkansas: Franklin, Logan, Madison, Newton and Pope


Triggering Disaster Event 2: Hail, high winds, lightning and a tornado that occurred on April 11, 2022.


Application Deadline: Feb. 3, 2023Primary Counties Eligible: Franklin, Logan and Sebastian Contiguous Areas also Eligible: Arkansas: Crawford, Madison, Scott, Johnson, Pope and Yell

Triggering Disaster Event 3: Excessive rain, flash flooding and flooding that occurred April 13, 2022, through April 14, 2022. Application Deadline: Feb. 3, 2023Primary Counties Eligible: Carroll and Madison Contiguous Areas also Eligible: Arkansas: Benton, Crawford, Johnson, Washington, Boone, Franklin and Newton Missouri: Barry, Stone and Taney


Triggering Disaster Event 4: Excessive rain, flash flooding, flooding, high winds, hail and a tornado that occurred May 2, 2022, through May 5, 2022.


Application Deadline: Feb. 3, 2023


Primary Counties Eligible: Arkansas, Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington



Contiguous Areas also Eligible:

Arkansas: Boone, Crawford, Desha, Franklin, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, Lonoke, Monroe, Newton, Phillips, Prairie
