As Drought Continues- Slaughter Cows Steady to $4 Lower in Oklahoma City on Tuesday October 11 Oklahoma National Stockyards
Cow and Bull Sale
Tuesday, October 11, 2022

Total Receipts:
Today           1,379
Last Week   1,546
Year Ago       1,346

Compared to last week: Slaughter cows steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold steady on a light test. Demand moderate. Several large drafts
of cows included. The drought continues, leaving no choice for the rancher but to sell. Hay supplies are limited or priced high making it not
worth it to winter cows. Wheat prospects also very dim with just over 50 percent of the crop planted and with no rain the chances of it making
is very low.
