Brandon Baumgarten of Oilton to Lead Oklahoma State Officer Team in 2012-2013 Brandon Baumgarten of the Oilton FFA Chapter will lead the 2012-2013 Oklahoma FFA State Officer Team, as he was elected by the delegates to serve as State FFA President for the coming year. Baumgarten has served over the last twelve months as the State Secretary of the Oklahoma FFA, while attending Oklahoma State University as a Freshman. His current major is Agribusiness with a Pre-Law option. (Pictured here is Brandon as he participated in the Opening Ceremonies earlier this week at the 86th Annual Convention of the Oklahoma FFA Association.)

In his resume prepared for his run for the office of State President, he told FFA members across Oklahoma that "Over the span of my FFA experience, I have gotten so much out of this organization, whether it was by stepping into the show ring, attending a leadership conference, competing in a speech contest, or just by simply meeting a new friend. The FFA has impacted my life in ways I never thought possible, and it is my desire to give back to the organization that has given me so much."
