Fri, 26 Oct 2012 02:18:59 CDT
It's down to waiting for a few more hours. Twenty four national officer candidates from across the United States have all finished their time in front of the 2012 Nominating Committee- and now they wait for Saturday afternoon and the reading of six names that will be the 2012-2013 National Officers that will take a year of lives and turn it over to the National FFA organization- representing and interacting with the 557,000 members of this youth organization.
Oklahoma's candidate for National Office has made it into that final 24. Marty Jones of Owasso waits and appears to be satisfied that he did all he could do to make a favorable impression upon the Nominating Committee. Catching up with Jones on Thursday evening in Indianapolis, we talked for a couple of minutes about the process- and about the waiting.
