Florida FFA Member Heads Up National FFA Officer Team for Coming Year

The 2012-2013 National Officers have been announced as one of the last actions at the 85th annual convention of the National FFA.
Leading the 557,000 members of the FFA in the coming year will be Clay Sapp of Florida. He is joined by Kalie Hall of Georgia as National Secretary, Brennan Costello of Nebraska as Central Region VP, Joenelle Futrell of Kentucky as Eastern Region VP, Lindsey Anderson of California as Western Region VP and Wiley Bailey of Alabama as the Southern Region VP.
The officers will embark on a year of service for the organization, during which they will travel around the world.
Clearly, the Nominating Committee felt the strongest candidates were in the Southern Region, as the South has three of the six national officers- the maximum that a region can have on an officer team.
