Oklahoma FFA Members Entertain and Inspire at the 94th National FFA ConventionThu, 28 Oct 2021 06:02:25 EDT
The 94th National Convention of the National FFA is underway this week in Indianapolis- with thousands of young people back in person in their Blue and Gold jackets after a virtual meeting last year. FFA members from across the country, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands are expected to participate in the event. Those who will not be able to participate in-person will have an option to participate in online components - ranging from the virtual FFA Blue Room to student and teacher workshops to general sessions. The FFA Blue Room will allow members to see how sustainability and innovation from the world’s brightest minds solve critical agriculture challenges. Students and teachers will be able to hear from industry leaders and more during workshops. They will be able to celebrate the achievements of their fellow FFA members as they watch the general sessions online.
Oklahoma has several hundred members that are participating in the 2021 Convention- including nine national Chorus members and six National Band members. Pictured here is Chorus participant Emma Taylor of the Pond Creek- Hunter Chapter.
