Meet Your 2013 National Prepared Public Speech Champion- Tyler Schnaithman, Garber FFA

A remarkable year for Tyler Schnaithman continued this week at the 2013 National FFA Convention in Louisville, as the OSU Freshman and member of the Garber FFA Chapter represented Oklahoma in the Prepared Public Speaking competition- and is bringing home a national championship. Schnaithman won with a speech defending modern production agriculture- telling us that he believes it is unfair for advocates of organic and naturally produced food to take a swing at modern production agricultural practices.
We talked with Schnaithman on Saturday morning as the 2013 National Convention begins to wind down. He talks with us about how he selected this topic and offers some tips to young FFA speakers about how to succeed in FFA speech competition.
