Oklahoma FFA claimed 11 National Proficiency Awards on Friday afternoon at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, the most from any single state. For the second straight year, Oklahoma has the most Proficiency Awards of any state- and in 2009, the Oklahoma FFA Association almost doubled the efforts of last year when Oklahoma FFA members claimed 6 National Award winners. Second to Oklahoma this year is California with 6 National winners, Wisconsin was the third most productive state with 5 National Award winners and Georgia and Illinois each had four.
