National FFA Alumni & Supporters Awards Grants to Assist Chapters

National FFA Alumni & Supporters Awards Grants to Assist Chapters Give Back to Your Roots Grants, supported by Nutrien Ag Solutions, were awarded to the Central FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Independence, Ore.; the Elgin FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Elgin, Ore.; Macon County FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Lafayette, Tenn.; MTSU Collegiate FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Richfield Springs FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Hartwick, N.Y.; West Greene FFA Alumni and Supporters in Mosheim, Tenn.; Garner FFA Alumni and Supporters in Weatherford, Texas; and Westminster High School FFA Alumni and Supporters in Westminster, Md. The Give Back to Your Roots grants can fund FFA student Chapter affiliation fees, plant science-based educational opportunities, or purchase necessary supplies and materials for local agricultural education programs.


“Our Alumni and Supporters across the country play a key role in supporting our FFA Chapters and members,” said Allie Ellis, associate director of National FFA Alumni and Supporters. “We are thankful to our sponsors for their generous grants, which result in our alumni assisting our student FFA members.”


In addition to Give Back to Your Roots grants, Legacy Grants, supported by Tractor Supply Company, were also awarded. These grants can be used to create an FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter, improve the quality of an existing alumni and supporters chapter or provide more opportunities for partnering between FFA Chapters and alumni and supporters Chapters. Legacy Partner Grants were recently awarded to the Central FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Independence, Ore.; Paynesville FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Paynesville, Minn.; the Riverton FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Riverton, Wyo.; the Southern High FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Harwood, Md.; the Supporters and Alumni of BKW FFA, of Westerloo, N.Y.; and the Tennessee FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter of Cookeville, Tenn. Legacy Improving grants were awarded to Faded Blues FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Stem, N.C.; North Carolina FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Raleigh, N.C.; Westminster High School FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter in Westminster, Md.; and the Granville FFA Alumni and Supporters in Granville, N.Y. Legacy Creating grants were awarded to Hoosick Falls FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; JWP FFA Alumni and Supporters of Janesville, Minn.; Leoti FFA Alumni and Supporters of Leoti, Kan.; Pine view FFA Alumni and Supporters of Saint George, Utah and Richfield Springs FFA Alumni and Supporters, Hartwick, N.Y.
