Day One of OYE Breeding Gilt Show Complete With Emma Sutton of Kiefer FFA Showing Best Light Commercial Gilt

The first 270 breeding gilts have been judged- and twenty of the Light Colored Crossbreds have topped the first of four divisions for the Commercial Breeding Gilt contest- the top Light Colored Crossbred was shown by Emma Sutton of Kiefer FFA- her gilt will compete against the top Dark Colored Crossbred once that animal is selected Friday afternoon.
The top ten Light Colored Crossbreds have secured a place in the Night of Stars Gilt Sale set for Sunday Afternoon in the Jim Norrick Arena at 2 PM.
There are just over 800 Dark Crosbred Gilts that will show starting at 8 AM in the Performance Arena at the OKC Fairgrounds. The sixteen classes are brokened into three divisions that will compete for the top Dark Colored Cross- and that gilt will compete against the Champion Light Colored Cross for the Supreme Champion Commercial Gilt.
The following 4-H and FFA members had their gilts ranked as the top twenty gilts by judge Andy Rash.

Sixth Light Colored CB Gilt-Summer Prince, Garber FFA
Seventh Light Colored CB Gilt- Dax Johnson, Crowder 4-H
Eighth Light Colored CB Gilt- Karsen Ketner, Central High FFA
Ninth Light Colored CB Gilt- Cooper Cummins, Hollis FFA
Tenth Light Colored CB Gilt- Cameron Ryel, Aline-Cleo FFA
11th Light Colored CB Gilt- Hayden Harper, Madill FFA
12th Light Colored CB Gilt- Jaylee Marcum, Lindsay FFA
13th Light Colored CB Gilt- Will Muegge, Deer Creek 4-H
