Jalei Watts of Warner FFA Shows Supreme Champion Commercial Gilt at 2022 OYE

The first half of the breeding gilt competition at the 2022 Oklahoma Youth Expo is now complete- and the Supreme Champion Commercial Gilt was shown by Jalei Watts of the Warner FFA. Her gilt was named the Champion of the Dark crossbred gilts on Thursday. Watts will be the first crossbred gilt to sell on Wednesday March 16th in the Night of Stars Gilt Sale- and received $3,000 in scholarship money for showing the Supreme Champion.
The Reserve Supreme Commercial gilt also came from the Thursday dark cross gilts- the Reserve was owned by Railey Spears of the Hartshorne FFA. Spears received $2,500 in scholarship money for showing the second best Commercial gilt.
The Light Cross Champion was named the Bronze Medallion Commercial Gilt and was showed and owned by Mylie Jo Campbell of Checotah. Campbell received $1,000 in scholarship money for her Bronze Medallion Commercial gilt.
