Champion Angus Named Supreme Beef Heifer at OYE- Shown by Madilyn Norvell of Amber Pocasset 4-H

Champion Angus Named Supreme Beef Heifer at OYE- Shown by Madilyn Norvell of Amber Pocasset 4-H The beef heifer show is in the record books at the 2022 Oklahoma Youth Expo- and three sets of Supreme Champion awards were handed out on Monday afternoon in the Jim Norick Arena.


First up was the Supreme Influence Drive, followed by the Supreme Heifer selection- nine breeds were evaluated for the top honors of the 2022 Beef Heifer Show.


The Supreme Champion Heifer was the Champion Angus Heifer shown by Madilyn Norvell of Amber Pocasset 4-H. (pictured here in the story) The Reserve Supreme Champion Heifer was the Angus Reserve Champion- shown by Carlee Clark of Muldrow 4-H. Bronze Medallion(third overall) was won by the Champion Charolais- shown by Kelton Arthur of Ripley FFA.

Supreme Champion- Lakin Collins, Coal County 4-H
Reserve Champion- Jadyn Young, Wetumka FFA


Angus
Champion- Madilyn Norvell, Amber Pocasset 4-H
Reserve- Carlee Clark, Muldrow 4-H


Charolais
Champion- Kelton Arthur, Ripley FFA
Reserve- Blake Janssen, Amber Pocasset FFA


Horned Hereford
Champion- Hayes Devine, Verden 4-H
Reserve- Quaid McIntyre, Leedey FFA


Polled Hereford
Champion- Carly Swink, Perkins Tryon FFA
Reserve- Clayton Hayes, Latta FFA

Maine Anjou
Champion- Turner Longacre, Bristow FFA
Reserve- Hunter Morton, Stratford FFA

Red Angus
Champion- Morley Griffith, Dale FFA
