The 2009 Oklahoma Youth Expo's Market Hog Show wrapped up Sunday afternoon and the breed winners quickly moved from the hog barn to the State Fair Arena. There we had the Grand Champion run with the Hampshire Champion taking top honors. The Hamp Champ was shown by Colin Listen of the El Reno FFA. The 280 pound barrow is named Tank- and he rolled over the over breed winners to grab the top price and the right to be the first of 65 hogs that will sell in the 2009 Premium Sale of Champions on Monday.
