Brantlee Cox of Morrison FFA Shows Supreme Champion Commercial Breeding Ewe at 2018 OYE

 Brantlee Cox of Morrison FFA Shows Supreme Champion Commercial Breeding Ewe at 2018 OYE The Breeding Ewe Competition of the Oklahoma Youth Expo concluded on Tuesday afternoon- with over three hundred fifty Commercial Breeding Ewes competing in Norrick Arena. Judge Scott Sutton of Kansas sorted and ended up selecting the top Ewe from the heavy weight class- shaking the hand of Brantlee Cox of Morrison FFA. Cox wins a thousand dollar scholarship, given in honor of retiring Oklahoma FFA Executive Secretary Kent Boggs who is also leading the Sheep Division volunteers for the final time at the OYE in 2018. The Reserve Supreme Champion Commercial Breeding Ewe was shown and is owned by Kailen Urban of the Moountain View-Gotebo FFA Chapter. The Bronze Supreme Champion was a one huundred thirty pound ewe lamb shown by Tyann Stacy of Oktaha FFA.


Class Winners included:

Class One- LaRay Cox, Comanche County 4-H

Class Two- Paisley Beshear, Poteau 4-H

Class Three- Tyann Stacy, Oktaha FFA (Bronze Winner)

Class Four- Blake Skidgel, Pawnee FFA

Class Five- Jana Stacy, Oktaha FFA

Class Six- Daniel Goodwin, Tonkawa FFA

Class Seven- Kailen Urban, Mountain View- Gotebo FFA (Reserve Supreme)

Class Eight- Brantlee Cox, Morrison FFA (Supreme Champion)
