Lydia Straka of Yukon FFA Sells Grand Champion Lamb for $15,000

The 2019 Oklahoma Youth Expo is in the record books- including another tremendous Sale of Champions. A total of forty six Market Lambs were a part of the Sale- and the top Market Lamb of 2019 was shown and owned by Lydia Straka of Yukon FFA- who also had the Grand Champion Lamb two years ago in 2017- this year's lamb sold for $15,000 with the buyers including the State Fair of Oklahoma, CSTK Trailers and OAEC. The Lamb was declared the Crossbred Champion enroute to winning the Grand Championship.
The Reserve Grand Champion Lamb was shown by Kailen Urban of Mountain View-Gotebo FFA- her lamb was the Champion in the Natural Division and it was purchassed for $10,000. The Bronze Medallion Lamb was shown by Shaylie Fletcher of Walters FFA- selling for $8,000.
