How He Picks Them- OYE Market Steer Judge Jack Ward

The 2009 Oklahoma Youth Expo is over- but for those of you that plan on showing a Market Steer at the 2010 Youth Expo- or at any show around the country- you may want to spend a few moments and listen to our conversation with Jack Ward, the Steer judge at the 2009 OYE.
Jack Ward is the Chief Operating Officer and the Director for Breed Improvement of the American Hereford Association in Kansas City, and is a judge that is in much demand all across the United States. We talked with Jack about what he wants in that perfect steer, as well as his thoughts on the young people he interacted with at the 2009 OYE. With his expertise in the Purebred circles- we also talked about the future of the seedstock business and how purebred cattle operations stay relevant in the years ahead.
