Ky Stierwalt of Leedey FFA Captures Top Prize at the OYE- the Grand Champion Market Steer

The Grand Champion Crossbred Steer was picked by Judge Jack Ward of Missouri as the best of more than 500 steers that were shown on Saturday and Sunday at the 2009 Oklahoma Youth Expo Market Steer Show. Ky tells us that his steer's name is Dan and that he is happy to go out a winner as a Senior at the Oklahoma Youth Expo. Our picture here is of Ky, his steer Dan and the Hardware he receives for winning the 2009 OYE Steer Show.

The Reserve Grand Champion was the Champion Chianina, owned by Ry Schneider of the Grady County 4-H Clubs. The Bronze Medallion Steer was the Reserve Crossbred Steer shown by Logan Davis of Newcastle FFA.
