Wed, 27 Jan 2010 9:36:48 CST
The Oklahoma Pork Council has decided to postpone the 2010 Oklahoma Pork Congress that had been scheduled for this coming Friday in Oklahoma City.
Roy Lee Lindsey of the Pork Council tells us in an email "Given the weather forecast for Thursday and Friday for all of Oklahoma, we believed it was prudent to cancel our meeting. Our producers need to stay near their farms where they can tend to the needs of their animals.
"A decision will be made next week on a new date."
