National Sorghum Producers Postpone Washington Fly In
Mon, 08 Feb 2010 9:37:05 CST
With Washington, DC still digging out from more than two feet of snow over the weekend- and perhaps with more on the way by midweek- the Washington, DC fly in of the National Sorghum Producers has been postponed.
NSP Spokesperson Hannah Lipps tells us that they hope to reschedule sometime in the near future.
While in Washington, the group had hoped to meet with House and Senate Ag Committee leadership- including Oklahoma Congressman Frank Lucas. And, the sorghum producers were to also meet with representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regarding the RFS2 which was released this past week.
