National Officer Tammi Didlot Sees ANCW Equipping members to Push Back Against Those Who Attack the Beef Cattle Industry
Fri, 19 Mar 2010 5:01:20 CDT
Oklahoma has a lady that has started the journey through the national officer chairs for the American National Cattlewomen earlier here in 2010. Tammi Didlot of Moore was elected by the delegates to the ANCW meeting in San Antonio to the office of First Vice President. Tammi is not shy about getting involved in helping advance the beef cattle business, and has already served as the Membership Committee of the national cattle auxiliary.
We continue our conversation with Tammi on this Beef Buzz- click here to listen to part one, which was our Beef Buzz feature on Thursday. Today, we talk about the challenge that ANCW has in having to riase money to replace previous support from the beef checkoff for programs like the Beef Cookoff and the Beef Ambassador program. And, we also talk about the challenge of activists and how groups like ANCW has to equip their members to respond to the attacks on animal agriculture that seem to be so common these days.
The Beef Buzz is a regular feature heard on radio stations around the state on the Radio Oklahoma Network- but is also a regular audio feature found on this website as well. Click on the listen bar below for today's show- and check out our archives for older Beef Buzz shows covering the gamut of the beef cattle industry today.
