We Beef Buzz About Beef Demand With Dr. Jim Robb


We continue our conversation with Dr. Jim Robb and how the cattle market is performing here as we hit the dog days of summer. On this Beef Buzz, we zero in on beef demand, which Robb says continues to be very much tied to the broader economy, so our domestic beef demand has moved a little stronger, but is still rather shaky. On the global market, especially in Asia, demand seems to be better- and the increases in multiple markets for US beef has helped keep cattle prices at or above break evens for a lot of 2010.
