The State of the Feedlot Industry is Pretty Darn Good- Mike Engler of TCFA

The 2010 Convention of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association is underway in Oklahoma City- running through midday Tuesday.
The opening General Session on Monday morning will feature the annual Chairman's Address to the organization- this year being delivered by Chairman Mike Engler of Cactus Feeders, based in Amarillo. We talked with Mike on Sunday Afternoon about how his feedlot members are faring here in 2010- hint- it's been a pretty good year- as well as discussing the many challenges that have come from big government.
In the first part of our conversation, we focused on the state of the feedlot industry here in the southern plains- and that is our Beef Buzz for this Monday.
