Mary Kay Thatcher of American Farm Bureau Calls Estate Tax Deal Pretty Amazing One of the major agricultural groups that has called for the elimination of the Death Tax for years is delighted that the GOP and President Obama have agreed to a deal to fix the Death tax for the next two years. Mary Kay Thatcher of the American Farm Bureau calls the announcement "pretty amazing" as she adds that "I never would have bet that we could get two year extension with 35% rate with a five million dollar exemption per person."
