Supreme Ewe Champ of 2011 OYE Shown by Destinee Johnson of Frederick FFA

Supreme Ewe Champ of 2011 OYE Shown by Destinee Johnson of Frederick FFA


The Oklahoma Youth Expo 2011 Ewe show was held on Thursday- over 400 ewes were evaluated by Jerry Hensler of Nebraska- and by early evening, he selected his top Commercial Ewe as the Supreme Ewe Champion for the 2011 OYE. That ewe was shown by Destinee Johnson of Frederick FFA- she wins a $3,000 scholarship from the OYE- reserve Supreme Champion was the Reserve Commercial Champion shown by Amber Cox of Morrision FFA- Amber gets a $2,000 scholarshipas Reserve Supreme Champ. Destinee is pictured with her ewe and prizes.

The bronze medalion winner picked up $1,500 in scholarship money- the ewe selected is owned by Kolton Schulein of the Deer Creek-Lamont FFA Chapter- Kolton's Ewe was the Champion Dorset.

Southdown:

Champion- Jaeleigh Olderburg, Mulhall Orlando 4-H

Reserve- Carlyn Magnees, Geary FFA


Shropshire:

Champion- Hilton Hurliman, Cordell FFA

Reserve- Dalton Hicks, Stillwater 4-H


Dorset:

Champion- Kolotn Schulein, Deer Creek-Lamont FFA

Reserve- Cmily Smith, Beckham County 4-H


Hampshire:

Champion- Shelby Bates, Hobart FFA

Reserve- Holly Hurliman, Cordell FFA


Suffolk:

Champion- Hope Hancock, Hobart FFA

Reserve- Hilton Hurliman, Cordell 4-H


Commercial:

Champion- Destinee Johnson, Frederick FFA

Reserve- Amber Cox, Morrison FFA
