The USDA released it's latest Prospective Plantings report this morning along with the Quarterly Stocks. The Plantings reports were almost in line with pre-report expectations from private sources. Corn prospective plantings were just above trade estimates, soybeans about 800,000 acres less than a year ago and wheat well above a year ago at 58 million acres with the biggest increase in the Spring Wheat.

Quarterly Stocks for corn was just under 2 billion less than a year ago, soybeans 2 million less than a year ago and wheat 69 million more than a year ago. Wheat, corn and soybean futures are all being called to trade higher today.
