Thu, 15 Sep 2011 15:35:45 CDT
Isle of Capri in Krebs, Okla., continues the Legendary Restaurants of Oklahoma campaign on Sept. 15. Isle of Capri first opened their doors to customers in Oklahoma in 1950 Stephanie Fields' uncle. Fields, owner and manager of Isle of Capri, says they are holding on to the same family-style traditions that started this legendary restaurant.
Known for their friendly environment and family-sized portions, Isle of Capri still serves up homemade meals made with only fresh ingredients that are prepared daily.
"We have a variety of different items to choose from on the menu," says Fields. "And you get a salad, garlic bread, cheese platter, bowl of spaghetti and ravioli's with every entrée that you order, which all comes out family style."
Being open for over 60 years, Isle of Capri has a menu with a variety of items from chicken fettuccini and chicken parmesan to chicken fried steaks and lamb fries. Fields says they are also known for their selection of steaks, which are also very popular.
Fields says she hopes customers have a family-friendly, relaxed and fun dining experience with delicious food when they come to Isle of Capri.
