Latest US Drought Monitor Show Drought Conditions Retreating in Oklahoma- Fifteen Percent Remains in Exceptional Drought

Oklahoma now has five percent of the state in the east central region that borders Arkansas that is no longer categorized as being in even minimal drought. At the other end of the spectrum, less than 15% of Oklahoma is remains in exceptional drought- with the D4 rating in far northwest Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Panhandle.
