Tammi Didlot Named Oklahoma Ag Woman of the Year

Mon, 21 Nov 2011 17:30:02 CST

Tammi Didlot Named Oklahoma Ag Woman of the Year Each year in the state of Oklahoma, an ambassador of the agriculture industry is recognized as the Agricultural Woman of the Year. Tammi Didlot was named just that during the annual Diamond Hats Ball in Oklahoma City. Didlot was selected based on her hard work and dedication as a passionate advocate for rural Oklahoma and agriculture.

Didlot's parents taught her the importance of hard work, honesty and integrity as she grew up on the family farm in southwest Oklahoma. She has stayed close to her agricultural roots with a registered and commercial Angus cow/calf operation in Altus that she maintains with her father.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Oklahoma State University, Didlot currently owns a business called SelectForce Inc., a company that provides background screening and drug testing to businesses across the state. Didlot currently serves on the Diamond Hats Ball Committee and is President of the Oklahoma CattleWomen, Inc., of which she has been a member for many years. She is the President-Elect of the American National CattleWomen, a position she will assume in February. Didlot also spends time working with youth involved in the Oklahoma Collegiate CattleWomen's Association and the Oklahoma Beef Ambassador Contest.

"She is a leader, a true professional and a shining example of integrity and work ethic," said Melissa Eisenhauer, Diamond Hats member and Oklahoma Youth Expo Show Manager.

Didlot shows her enthusiasm, passion for agriculture and the importance of the cattle industry in the state as well as across the nation.

"I feel honored and privileged to be recognized among a group of very outstanding ladies," Didlot said.
