Spring's Arrival Greeted by Significant Rains- Look Here for Rainfall Map

Rainfall has now fallen over all 77 counties in Oklahoma since Sunday afternoon- that according to the latest rainfall map for Oklahoma from the Mesonet. The amounts in Texas and Cimarron Counties are tiny- but there is hope that more could be on the way.
The graphic above from the Oklahoma Mesonet shows heavy rains in eastern Oklahoma- and some additional amounts in northwestern Oklahoma since Tuesday morning. Flooding has been a natural outcome of the heaviest storms which have dumped over 6 inches of rain in several counties.
Rains in central and western Oklahoma are very timely for both the winter canola and wheat crops- as well as getting soil moisture profiles ready for spring planting.
