Osage County Man Charged in Cattle Theft Case

A cattle rustling suspect pleads not guilty to charges he stole six cattle in Osage County. Twenty-eight-year-old Dennis Paul Burress of Skiatook is being held in the Osage County Jail in Pawhuska on $5,000 bond.
Burress is charged with stealing three cows and three calves from an Osage County rancher.
Special Ranger Bart Perrier with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association obtained sale documents and security footage from Tulsa Stockyards, Inc., which allegedly link Burress to the theft.
The investigation is ongoing and the TSCRA is being assisted by the Osage County Sheriff's Office.
TSCRA has 30 special rangers stationed strategically throughout Texas and Oklahoma who have in-depth knowledge of the cattle industry and are trained in all facets of law enforcement. All are commissioned as Special Rangers by the Texas Department of Public Safety and/or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
