Wheat, Canola Answer Plot Knowledge Events Address Producers' Questions and Unique Challenges
Tue, 27 Mar 2012 15:24:36 CDT
A series of three agronomic tours demonstrating options for maximizing yield potential in canola and wheat are on tap across western Oklahoma for the first week in April.
Sponsored by AgriSolutions, the Answer Plot Knowledge Events bring experts in agronomy to meet with producers to answer questions about the technology on display, as well as to address each producer's unique challenges.
In addition to a host of agronomic information, we will also discuss Croplan Genetics and DeKalb Canola Varieties, Nutrisolutions tissue sampling and Max-IN Micronutrients.
A discussion of improving winter wheat yields has also been incorporated into the events. Agronomists will be on hand to discuss seed treatments, herbicide applications, adjuvants designed to improve pesticide applications, Nutrisolutions tissue sampling and other agronomic practices to help improve wheat yields.
The field events will be held in Apache on April 3rd, one mile north of the Apache Livestock Sale Barn on N2590 Road; Kingfisher on April 4th, just west of the Fairgrounds on the south side of SH 33; and in Capron on April 5th, 1/4 mile north on N90 Road.
