Oklahomans Judge, Name Top Limousin Showmen at 2012 National Junior Limousin Show and Congress

The 2012 National Junior Limousin Show and Congress kicked off on July 8, 2012 with the showmanship competition. Travis and Beth Pembrook, Fairview, Okla., had the honors of evaluating the showmanship contestants.
In the senior division Pembrook selected Cheyanne Ratliff, Westphalia, Kan., as the champion senior showman. The top 10 finalists in the senior division included: Klay Beisly, Nevada, Mo.; Eric Birkner, Solgohachia, Ark.; Remy Carmichael, Midland, Texas; Randee Corns, Eureka Kan.; Cody Heavin, Springfield, Mo; Nathan Hicks, Midway, Ky.; Ethan Hodges, Leakesville, Miss.; Sarah Johnson, Williamsport, Ohio; and Christine Todd, Danvers, Ill.
Pembrook selected Rachel Booth, Miami, Okla. as the champion showman in the intermediate division. The top 10 finalists in the intermediate division are as follows: Will Bollum, Northfield, Minn.; Bailey Carter, Carter, Okla.; Shelby Hubbard, Miami, Okla.; Cheyenne Ladner, Picayune, Miss.; Haylie McGowan, Coleman, Okla.; Chase Ratliff, Westphalia, Kan.; Lauren Stowers, Bridgeport, Texas; Bailey Walrod, Moorland, Iowa; and Mason Wells, Stillwater, Okla.
Dalton Edwards, Higginsville, Mo., was awarded the honor of being named the champion junior showman. The top 10 finalists in the junior division included: McKinley Begert, Alison, Texas; Will Blaydes, Midway, Ky.; Colt Cunningham, Rose, Okla.; Kaylee Gum, Pittsburg, Kan.; Grant Hubbard, Miami, Okla.; Linden Linthicum, Welch, Okla.; Andrew Milam, Olmstead, Ky; JoDee Mudd, Knob Noster, Mo.; and Tanner Walden Tonganoxie, Kan.
In the novice division, Pembrook selected Korynn Clason, Beaver City, Neb., as the champion novice showman. The top 10 finalists in the novice division included: Kylie Anderson, Garner, Iowa; Madeline Ethington, Lancaster, Ky.; Carly Henderson, Wellsville, Mo.; Jacob Keeton, Wolfforth, Texas; Nichole Keeton, Wolfforth, Texas; Jaden Linthicum, Welch, Okla.; McKenna Richardson, Eureka, Kan.; Kaleb Smith, Java Village, Ny; and Zachary Snyder, Fort Scott, Kan.
The North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) has partnered with Sullivan's Supply and Stock Show University to sponsor the National Junior Limousin Show & Congress showmanship contest. The partnership awarded the top 10 showmen in each division with a custom show halter.
