Five State Beef Conference Slated for September 4th in Woodward

Experts from Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oklahoma will convene to discuss topics of current interest to livestock producers at the Five State Beef Conference next week in Woodward.
The one-day event begins at 2:30 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m. September 4th at the High Plains Technology Center in Woodward.
Conference topics include: Evaluating Alternative and Non-Conventional Feed Sources, Evaluation of Feeding Systems for Maintaining Cattle, Traits and Tools for Retention and Replacement of Females, Managing Range Resources During and Recovering from Drought, and Trends and Changes Impacting Livestock Economics.
Presenters include Justin Waggoner, Kansas State University; John Wagner, Colorado State University; Megan Rolf, Oklahoma State University; Nick Ashcroft, New Mexico State University; and Rodney Jones, Oklahoma State University.
Dinner is being sponsored by Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma, Northwest Oklahoma Cattlemen's Foundation and Jerry Nine and the Woodward Livestock Auction.
