Fri, 11 Jan 2013 05:44:45 CST
Rainfall totals across Oklahoma contiuned to grow during the day on Thursday- especially in the northern half of the state. The Freedom mesonet station in northwest Oklahoma ended up with .88 of an inch of rain- the most rainfall they had seen in months. Southern Oklahoma, as we mentioned on Thursday morning, got the most rainfall- with 26 Mesonet locations showing an inch or more of rain. Sixteen of those were in the southeastern quadrant of the state- and seven were in southwestern Oklahoma.
The map above shows the rainfall across the state- after the system had fully excited the state. The graphic below shows where the weather wizards believe rainfall will be headed the next several days- bottom line, it looks like the Oklahomans attending the American Farm Bureau Convention will get their share of "wetness" this coming week.
