Growth Energy Congratulates President Obama, Vows to Help with Clean, Renewable Energy Agenda

Following President Obama's inaugural speech, which outlined the importance of clean, renewable energy, Tom Buis CEO of Growth Energy released the following statement:


"I would like to congratulate President Obama on his second inauguration. We look forward to continuing our efforts together to advance the cause of clean burning renewable fuels.


"The President has asked the American people to lead in the path toward sustainable energy sources. Growth Energy and its members stand ready to heed the call of the President and lead America in transitioning to 21st century renewable energy sources that are cleaner and better for our environment, and help create jobs right here at home that cannot be outsourced.


"Growth Energy will continue its ongoing mission to develop renewable, homegrown energy sources that will provide consumers with savings and a choice at the pump as well as end our dangerous addiction to foreign oil.


"We stand at the ready to help our nation achieve energy independence and look forward to working with President Obama and Congress to realize these critical steps in sustainable energy development."
