Micheal Kelsey Returning Home as Top Hired Hand of Oklahoma Cattlemens Association

The executive committee of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association is pleased to announce it has appointed Michael Kelsey to the Executive Vice-President position as a result of his seasoned and outstanding cattle industry leadership," said Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association, President, Mike Frey of Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

Michael Kelsey was raised on a commercial cow-calf ranch in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Animal Science. He joins the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association with more than 14 years of experience in the cattle industry having served as the senior staff officer for the South Carolina Cattlemen's Association, the Oklahoma Beef Council and most recently as Executive Vice-President of the Nebraska Cattlemen Association. He and his wife Tonya have four children, Joshua, Caleb, Anna, and Chloe.
"It is an honor to join this tremendous organization that serves Oklahoma ranching families so well and to work with such an outstanding group of leadership and staff. My family and I are thrilled to have this opportunity to come back to Oklahoma. I have high expectations for the future of the Oklahoma beef industry and for the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association and I look forward to being a part of it," says Michael Kelsey.
Kelsey's effective start date will be July 1, 2013. According to Mike Frey, "We are excited to bring Michael back home to Oklahoma and have him on board with us. We foresee great outcomes from his leadership."
