Monday Feeder Cattle Auction, October 7, 2013
There were 8,931 head of cattle sold in the Monday trade at the Oklahoma National Stockyards. In active trade, feeder steer and heifer yearling prices were called $2 to $3 higher, while steer and heifer calf prices were $6 to $8 hihger than a week earlier.
The following are the actual prices as released by the Oklahoma National Stockyards- no grades are available with the USDA Federal Market News Reporters unavailable.
Steers- all qualities- 300 to 400 pound steer calves ranged from $140 to $248, 400 to 500 $117 to $214, 500 to 600 $88 to $206, 600 to 700 (calves and yearlings)- $133 to $174, 700 to 800 $135 to $1778, 800 to 900 $139 to $167, 900 to 1000 $139 to $156 and 1000 to 1100 118 to 137.50 (extreme top to $168.)
