No recent test for a comparison of trends. Feeder cattle lightly tested thus far. When looking at Friday markets a lower undertone is noted. Early demand moderate at best for feeders but good for calves, especially those weaned 45 plus days. Quality thus far average, few attractive.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: few 400-435 lbs 210.00- 211.00; 500-550 lbs 178.50-188.00, lot 525 lbs fancy 198.50; 550-600 lbs 174.00-180.50; 600-625 lbs 163.00-166.50; 650-700 lbs 155.00-157.50; few lots 725-765 lbs 150.00; Yearlings: 625-700 lbs 169.50-176.50; lot 775 lbs 165.50; lot 840 lbs 158.00.

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 425-435 lbs 178.00-181.00; 500-525 lbs 161.00-167.00, lot 500 lbs fancy 174.50; lot 575 lbs 151.00; 600-650 lbs 145.50-148.50; Yearlings: 625-700 lbs 157.00-163.25; pkg 755 lbs 149.50.
