No recent test for a comparison of trends. Feeder cattle lightly tested and when looking at Friday markets a lower undertone is noted.Demand for feeder cattle moderate. Calf prices are strong and selling to good demand, especially those that are 45 plus days weaned. Supply very typical of the fall with several calves and limited numbers yearling cattle. Quality average, few attractive.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: lot 385 lbs 225.00; few 400-435 lbs 210.00-217.00; 450-500 lbs 196.00-199.50; 500-550 lbs 178.50-188.00, few lots fancy 195.00-198.50; 550-600 lbs 173.25-182.50, fleshy 169.00-169.50; 600-650 lbs 160.00-171.00; 650-700 lbs 155.00-159.00; few lots 725-765 lbs 147.00-156.00; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 171.50-176.50; 650-700 lbs 169.50-174.25; few 700-750 lbs 165.50-173.50; 750-800 lbs 163.00-170.00; 800-900 lbs 158.00-163.50; lot 900 lbs fleshy 144.00; few 925-960 lbs 146.00-147.00.
