Brandon Baumgarten Finishing Up National Officer Candidate Process- Waiting for Saturday Afternoon's Announcement
Wed, 30 Oct 2013 21:47:00 CDT
The work is about over and the waiting is now underway for Oklahoma National Officer Candidate Brandon Baumgarten of Oilton. A final interview is scheduled for Thursday morning- and then the decision will be made by the selection committee that will offer a slate of six National Officers to be approved by the delegates to the 86th annual convention of the National FFA. That group of six will not hear their names called until Saturday afternoon during the final general session of the FFA.
After a full day of activities with the other Officer Candidates, Baumgarten joined the State Officers of the Oklahoma FFA for a few minutes during a joint dinner with the Ohio State officers in downtown Louisville- Farm Director Ron Hays caught up with him at that time and caught a few minutes with the immediate past President of the Oklahoma FFA.
